Starting on the 19th of September, the 2016 edition of the IPP Summer University took place at the Max-Planck Institute in Greifswald. The 5-day summer school covered the main aspects of plasma physics with emphasis on nuclear fusion, during multiple lectures that were designed for physics and engineering students who passed their bachelor (undergraduate) courses or master students that have not yet decided their PhD topic. The summer university also included a tour through the Wendelstein 7-X facilities.
