28th Symposium on Plasma Physics and Technology at CVUT in Prague

The Symposium on Plasma Physics and Technology has a long tradition and is usually held biennially. This year's event will be the 28th one and it will take place from 18-21 of June at the Czech Technical University in Prague, Faculty of Electrical Engineering.

The main topics that will be addressed during the symposium are:

  1. Tokamaks and other magnetic confinement devices
  2. Short lived plasmas (plasma focus, z-pinch, particle beam – plasma interaction, X-ray sources)
  3. Laser plasma
  4. Non-equilibrium low temperature plasma
  5. Thermal plasmas
  6. Plasma in technology, biology and medicine
  7. Fundamental plasma physics
  8. Plasma theory and simulation

There are expected to be around 150-200 participants from all over the world.
