The workshop topics are:

  • Mechanisms of electron current saturation
  • Accuracy of electron temperature measurements
  • Techniques for measuring the ion temperature
  • Multiple probe systems, probe arrays
  • Robust probe tip constructions for high power loads
  • Detection and consequences of non-thermal distributions
  • Sheath and pre-sheath physics
  • Probes in recombining and drifting plasmas
  • Advanced and innovative probe concepts
  • Probes in space and propulsion systems
  • Probe applications in fusion-oriented devices
  • Probe diagnostic in technological plasmas
  • Other topics

The official language of the workshop is English. All printed materials as well as the presentations will appear in English. Oral presentations will be allotted 20 minutes and 5 minutes discussion. The abstracts will appear in the Book of Abstracts.
