On Tuesday May 12th 2015, the SCK-CEN Academy for Nuclear Science and Technology will organise a Nuclear Career Day. During this event students and young professionals will be introduced to the different nuclear career opportunities that exist in Belgium and at the IAEA. 

Registration is mandatory for all participants and can be done via the SCK-CEN Academy website.

The registration deadline is May 5, 2015.

Programme
At 09.00h the event starts with a welcome coffee, followed by a morning program in which academic programmes and career pathways will be presented and during which there will be testimonials by students and young professionals. During the walking lunch there will be the possibility to interact with representatives of the participating companies, institutions and networks and in the afternoon there will be technical visits to various nuclear facilities. The day will be concluded with a social event in Brussels, organized by the BNS-YG (Belgian Nuclear Society - Young Generation), which will allow for networking in an informal way.

Target Public
The event is aimed at Master and PhD students in sciences and engineering and young professionals with an interest in pursuing a career in nuclear industry.

Venue
The event will be organised at the Royal Flemish Academy of Belgium for Science and the Arts in Brussels.
