Eye witness report from SUMTRAIC 2011 in Prague, part 3
The last few days the COMPASS tokamak has been running every day and everyone has been very busy with learning how to analyze the data from the experiments. We spend most our time in the control room attending the experiments and working on our analyzing programs.
Most of us have to write a code with Matlab, IDL or other programs, with the help of the IPP scientists of course. For the ones who are skilled at programming this is easy, those who know the basics it is difficult, for those who aren’t familiar with the programs, it is hell!
Now we all hope that our programs will be up and running soon and the real analyzing of the data can begin.
