Dynamics of fluids and plasmas

The course contains the following chapters:

Hydrodynamic balance equations; stress tensor; simple solutions of the Navier-Stokes equations; vorticity; boundary layer theory; hydrodynamic stability; the physics of turbulence.

Dynamics of conductive fluids; magnetohydrodynamics; numerical approaches in fluid dynamics.

Motion of charged particles in electromagnetic fields; Debye screening; statistical physics of plasmas; dielectric properties of plasmas.
