Summer School in Energy Technology in St. Petersburg

Peter the Great Saint Petersburg Polytechnic University presents its new Summer School on Energy Technology. Topics addressed at the summer school include nuclear engineering, turbomachinery, electrical engineering and oil and gas technologies.

The School provides the opportunity to attend a mixed programme of four modules: Electrical Engineering, Nuclear Engineering, Turbomachinery, Oil & Gas in Energy industry. The program includes lectures, company visits (CHP / NPP, industrial companies) and workshops from Russian and International experts. All studies are developed according to the European requirements and can be recognized as a period abroad. Upon successful completion of the course students are awarded with 5 ECTS credits.

Participation fee: 40.000 rubs (~615€) for 2 weeks or 55.000 rubs (~845€) for 3 weeks. The participation includes: tuition fee, course material, company visits, cultural program.

Accomodation: Not provided. It can be booked at the university campus if free places are available (600 rub/day/person (double room)) or found by participants independently. For student groups with more than 10 people free accommodation can be arranged.

Registration Deadline:

  • For EU students: 3rd of July
  • For RUS students / students who don't need visa: 17th of July
  • For the rest: 1st of June
