The PhD Event for European PhD Students in Fusion Science and Technology will take place at IPP Garching, Germany, on October 13 and 14, 2011.
The aim of the event is to bring together EU PhD students in Fusion Science and Technology to discuss their work, but also to attend lectures of broader interest and to get to know each other.
The event will be open for all students enrolled in a PhD programme at a European University whose topic is associated to Nuclear Fusion research.
Financial support is available, granted by the FUSENET Association and you can apply for it via IPP. In this case, please state it clearly in your application to IPP and submit a suited recommendation letter together with the application.

Deadline for the Application is August 7, 2011. Due to practical reasons, the attendance will be limited to 70 persons. The granting of FUSENET support will be decided by a Co-ordinating group consisting of representatives of several FUSENET partners and the decision be communicated before August 15.
