This annual conference with a long tradition is organized by the Plasma Physics Division of the European Physical Society (EPS). It covers the wide field of plasma physics ranging from nuclear fusion to low temperature, astrophysical and laser plasmas.
The 47th EPS conference is organized by Barcelona Supercomputing Center (BSC) which is the national supercomputing center in Spain. The conference venue is Meliá Sitges, a leading hotel for congresses in Barcelona. It is well connected to the Barcelona city center and only 20 minutes away from the Barcelona El Prat International Airport. The hotel has fully equipped meeting spaces to fit the conference, and all its hotel rooms come with a terrace, most of them with a direct view over the Mediterranean Sea.
