The biennial joint Varenna-Lausanne international workshop on the Theory of Fusion Plasmas will be held in Varenna, Italy, from 12 to 16 October 2020. Topics include anomalous transport, RF heating and current drive, non-axisymmetric configurations, macroinstabilities and magnetic reconnections, plasma-edge physics and divertors, and burning plasmas. PhD student can apply at a reduced fee.
