Fusion for Energy (F4E) is an organization that supports fusion research and development initiatives throughout Europe and that provides Europe's contribution to ITER. The summer studentships that F4E organizes this year, will enable students to participate and gain some experience in the daily work of F4E, for periods of 2 to 3 months.

A maximum of 13 studenthips for EU or Swiss nationals are available for this summer, in particular of interest to those following studies in fields linked to F4E activities.

If you are a student following a university study, can now apply for a place on the F4E summer studentship programme. The programme, which will be running for the third year, provides short-term training at the F4E offices in Barcelona in order to promote awareness, knowledge and understanding of F4E’s role in the ITER project and within the European context.

The duration of the summer studentship will be two to three months, with the programme running between June and September. F4E summer students will be remunerated and may receive an allowance for travel expenses.

Detailed information can be found in the Studentship Notice published on the F4E website.

The deadline for submission is 20/04/2012.
