Cash out for Andrea Rossi

The Italian Andrea Rossi, inventor of the Energy Catalyzer (E-Cat), has attracted attention of media and scientists for a long time, with claims of anomalous heat production in a special type of reactor tube named E-Cat HT. The reactor tube is said to be charged with a small amount of hydrogen loaded nickel powder plus some additives.

Industrial Heat, LLC acquires right to E-Cat technology

Despite a dubious track record of Rossi and repeated critics on tests of the device, last week a US company from North Carolina has bought all rights to the technology from Andrea Rossi. In its press release, Industrial Heat, LLC, with investors from the Cherokee Investment Partners, wrote: "IH has engaged in a broad-based effort to protect it [the IP of the E-Cat] by preparing numerous patent applications related to the core technology as well as associated designs and uses".

Purchase of a fake reactor?

In any case, this is a remarkable chapter in the 3-year long E-CAT saga and it is now openly asked whether the Industral Heat LLC now owns a fake LENR reactor from Rossi or whether they really have secured some useful patents of the process.

The most probable statement however we found in one of the forum comments: "This story is going to make a great movie one day - whether it works or not."
