From the 18th - 29th July, the 53rd edition of the Culham plasma physics summer school took place at the Culham Centre for Fusion Energy (CCFE) near Oxford. The summer school was intended to give students an introduction to the fundamentals of plasma physics together with an idea of how the physics is related to applications such as magnetic confinement fusion, laser plasma and interial confinement fusion, low temperature plasma and astrophysical plasmas. Specific topics in these fields were also treated in depth.
